IRS has carried out more than 100 projects in the past and 12 projects are now in progress  which are sponsored by central, state and private organisations.  The completed major projects and its out put are briefly outlined below.

Output :  An information system for protecting  the Eco system of Western Ghats

Project Title : HADP project – establishment of cadastral level watershed    resources
information system (CLRIS) for all the micro-watersheds

Output: A  customized software to provide information about the action plan suggested based on integration of several data.

Output :  A touch screen Information system has been developed for Theni  District &  handed over to District administration

Project Title : Evaluation of Western Ghats Development programme for a decade    using RS and GIS in Tirunelveli District

Project Title:  Identification of Groundwater Recharge areas using  RS &  GIS for all the blocks of Tamil Nadu.

Project Title :Micro Level Recharge for  Nemili Block in Vellore.

Project Title :  Creation of Thematic layers for Andhra Pradesh,  Karnataka, Kerala,
