“Centre for International Affairs (CIA) is responsible for admission of students under Foreign Nationals (FN), Non-Resident Indians (NRI), and People of Indian Origin (PIO) and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC) for Undergraduate Degree (B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch) and Postgraduate degree (M.E/M.Tech/MBA/MCA/M.Plan/M.Sc) programmes. At present about 830 students are enrolled in these categories. The medium of Instruction for UG and PG programmes is English. For admission to UG programmes, the students should have completed twelve years of school education or equivalent and should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at the eleventh and twelth year of school education.
Centre for International Affairs (CIA) organizes International Seminar Series periodically with experts from foreign Universities as resource persons on specific topics of Applied Sciences, Technology and Engineering. The Centre also conducts foreign languages such as German, French and Japanese for faculty member and students. To motivate research among young Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, the centre provides full financial support towards participation in International conferences. The centre also supports faculty and students going on short and long term visits to MoU institutions.”
