Vision, the annual All India Technical Symposium conducted by the ECE Association of the Department of ECE, College of Engineering, Guindy, is a hallmark event in the annals of Anna University that fosters innovation, thought and engineering in even the most dormant minds. Every year, scores of spirited and talented students from various reputed colleges of the country pit their brains against each other in a gamut of events conducted in connection with Vision.
Vision spans four days commencing with ExhiVISION, the project display contest and a series of Workshops on evolving trends in Electronics and Communication to be conducted in parallel, over the first two days. The next two days witness an array of exciting events on technical grounds.
ExhiVision is a two day All India technical exhibition comprising of a hotchpotch of projects in different domains of Information and Communication Systems, namely, hardware, software and robotics. The objective of the exhibition is two-fold : one to demonstrate theory in practice and the other to apply it. Application oriented projects are given more preference. Robotics is given a special focus . Exhivision serves to nurture talent and provides, through the media, the deserved recognition for emerging talent and promising potential. This event provides a platform for the students to exhibit their creative, innovative and novel ideas to their technical counterparts and also the general public. Exhivision will serve to nurture talent and provide a proper recognition also through the media for the emerging talents.
VISION 2008 will be organized on similar lines with all the planning and team effort to make it a huge success. It has even been decided to incorporate some new events this year, to make it as interesting and exciting. So, please look out for posters of this mega event that will be put up as soon as possible!
