DEPARTMENT OF MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING (DOME)

Introduction

The DOME offers B.E. – Manufacturing Engineering (Full Time & Part Time), M.E.  – CIM (Full Time & Part Time), M.S. by Research and Ph.D. programmes. The Department has well equipped Laboratories and highly qualified Research oriented faculty.




The areas of research include CAD/CAM/CIM, Robotics, Rapid Prototyping, FEA, Composite Materials, MIS, TQM etc. This Department is a pioneer in continuing education programmes and has conducted more than 60 short term courses in the area of CNC Machines and CAM for participants from industries, education institutions and others.
