India 's First Campus Community Radio, Anna CR @ 90.4 MHz conducts Fourth Musical Talent Hunt Contest from 26 - 31 st Dec 2009 at EMMRC Studio, Anna University .

Anna Community Radio (Anna CR) was the first Campus-based Community Radio, established in February 2004 by Anna University Chennai at its Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMMRC).The purpose of Anna CR is to uplift the local community residing nearby Anna University, Chennai, by creating awareness in health care, education, female literacy, self - employment, clean environment, etc.

As part of its mission to promote creative musical talent among its community folk, Anna CR is organizing the Fourth Musical Talent Hunt Contest on Vocal and Instrumental categories. The theme is strictly based on social awareness and patriotic Cinema and devotional songs are not allowed. Instrumental accompaniment is being provided at the studio for the contestants in the Vocal category. The panel of experts will select the winners. There is no entry fee as well as age limit to participate in the contest.

Note: Those who have already participated in musical talent hunt contest conducted during 2006, 2007 and 2008 are not eligible.
