The Faculty
The School believes that effective business education requires a
mix of both academic rigour and practical application. Both are
achieved by our programmes, which are taught by high-ranking
academics, chosen from faculty having over fifteen years of experience,
drawn from several parts of the country. Many are active in
industry-based research and consultancy for both commercial
organisations and government bodies. This broad-based research work
feeds into the quality of the teaching particularly in terms of
bringing students up to date with current business issues.
Style of teaching
The formal classes are complimented by business simulation
exercises and a consultancy project. Much of the case studies and
project work is carried out in groups of typically 4-5 students thus
enabling every student to have the opportunity to maximise their
contribution to the group, including carrying out class
presentations.
The Management School places strong emphasis on the benefits of
mutual learning. We therefore insist on having students from various
educational background and experience, most of them being engineers
from reputed Institutions all around the country. This ensures that the maximum benefit is derived
from peer interaction, thus complementing and enhancing the taught
element of the programme.
