I am happy to learn that the NSS Volunteers in Engineering Colleges of Anna University have carried out the NSS activities like Tsunami relief activities, Technologies for Rural Developments,"No Tobacco" awareness programme, Blood Donation Camps, AIDS Awareness, Creation of Awareness among the public on Rain Water Harvasting training Programmes for self-help groups were some of the noteworhty programmes on the theme of   YOUTH FOR WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT  during 2004-2005.

Conducting training programmes on various trades, venturing upon trekking and mountaineering, career guidance, personality development programmes, participating in various seminars etc. make one feel elated. Like last year, the year 2005-2006 shall be another year with vibrant NSS activities.

I convey my sincere appreciation for all those involved in putting their might in moulding the budding engineers to work towards bringing up the name of their institutions and Anna University through NSS activities.
