Optoelectronics & Medical Imaging

University Grants Commission has recognized the achievements of Anna University in the field of Biomedical Instrumentation and provided the University with the coveted status as the University with Potential for Excellence in the field of Bio Medical Engineering and Instrumentation.

This lab has been developed with various equipment and image processing software worth of Rs.2,13,74,000 (Rupees Two Crore Thirteen Lakh and Seventy-Four Thousand) through UGC-UPE Scheme. The lab is dedicated to research and development in varied areas of biomedical engineering and the facilities available cater to the needs of UG and PG students as well as Ph.D. scholars.

  • Bluetooth based DAQ for biomedical signals over Smart phone

  • NI Compact Vision System with controller with NI Software
