Research Completed

Research Activities:

  • Facilitating the preparation of Integrated Coastal Zone Management Plans (ICZMP) by State Coast Management Authorities.

  • Transfer of Technology- The application of newer technologies such as Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System (GIS), Relational Data Base Management Systems ( RDBMS) and Decisions Supportt System (DSS) in the preparation of Integrated Coastal Zone Management Plans.
  • Dissemination of information and knowledge for decision makers, user communities and local authorities.

Among the Research Activities IOM takes a vital role in helping researchers submit Ph. D thesis
