Methodology:
     Coastal Land Use/Land Cover maps and Coastal Regulation Zone map on 1:25,000 scale derived from satellite data were collected from State Coastal Zone Management Authorities. The geo-referenced maps were digitized in ARC-INFO GIS. Digitized maps were edited, labeled and layouts were prepared. The area statistics of different Ecologically Important Areas were generated and represented in the maps.
