Thulir Thiran'25 was conducted on 23 October 2025 as a talent-hunting and competitive event organized by the Youth Red Cross (YRC) of Anna University CEG Campus with the aim of identifying and encouraging the hidden talents of YRC members. The event served as a vibrant platform for students to showcase their creativity, skills, cultural performances, and innovative ideas inspired by the life, values, and vision of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, who strongly believed in the power and potential of youth.

Various competitions such as drawing, singing, poem writing, essay writing, oration, and debate were conducted during the event. These competitions provided participants with the opportunity to express their thoughts, emotions, and talents in unique and creative ways. Students enthusiastically participated and presented their perspectives on themes related to inspiration, leadership, social responsibility, and national development. Through Thulir Thiran'25, students were motivated to explore their abilities, build confidence, and showcase their talents, creating an inspiring environment that celebrated creativity, teamwork, and youth empowerment.

Thulir Thiran'24 was conducted on 5th May 2024 and organized by the Youth Red Cross (YRC) as a talent enrichment initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing the diverse abilities of student volunteers. The event was designed to provide a dynamic platform for participants to exhibit their creativity, intellectual potential, and communication skills. Inspired by the visionary ideals of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the program emphasized the importance of innovation, leadership, and social responsibility among the youth.

A variety of competitions, including drawing, singing, essay writing, poetry composition, oration, and debate, were conducted as part of the event. These activities encouraged students to articulate their thoughts, demonstrate artistic expression, and engage in meaningful discussions on socially relevant themes. The enthusiastic participation of students reflected their commitment to learning and self-development. Overall, Thulir Thiran’24 served as an effective platform for fostering creativity, enhancing confidence, and promoting a spirit of healthy competition and collaboration among YRC members.
